District Council 57 – AFSCME Council 57 is made up of 24 AFSCME Locals, encompassing nearly 25,000 members in public and private agencies statewide and in Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Inyo, Madera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne Counties.

AFSCME California PEOPLE – California PEOPLE is AFSCME’s legislative and political arm in California, representing 76 locals statewide.  PEOPLE (Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality) is on your side, fighting to protect working families!

American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) – We are the umbrella federation for U.S. unions, with 56 unions representing 12.5 millionworking men and women. We work to ensure that all people who work receive the rewards of their work—decent paychecks and benefits, safe jobs, respect and fair treatment. We work to make the voices of working people heard in the White House, on Capitol Hill, in state capitals across the country and in corporate boardrooms. We provide an independent voice for working families and ways for working people to be actively engaged in politics and legislation. We also hold corporations accountable for their treatment of employees and ensure the voice of working people is heard in the financial system. We also work with federations of unions in other countries toward global social and economic fairness.

California Labor Federation – The California Labor Federation is made up of more than 1,200 AFL-CIO and Change to Win unions, representing 2.1 million union members in manufacturing, retail, construction, hospitality, public sector, health care, entertainment and other industries.
